These Terms govern your use of LawyerDhundo (lawyerdhundo.com), operated by SD Enterprises, New Delhi, India ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms.
1. What LawyerDhundo is (and is not)
LawyerDhundo is a neutral directory of document-verified advocates. We are not a law firm, we do not practise law, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Using the site, contacting an advocate through it, or booking a consultation does not create an advocate–client relationship with us. Any engagement you enter into is directly between you and the advocate.
2. No endorsement, ranking or guarantee
Consistent with the Bar Council of India Rules (including Rule 36), we do not rank, rate, recommend or endorse any advocate, and we make no representation about the outcome of any matter. "Verified" means only that the advocate's enrolment documents passed our verification checks at the time of listing. It is not a certification of skill or a guarantee of service quality. Choose your advocate using your own judgement.
3. Advocate listings
Advocates who register confirm that: they are enrolled with the stated Bar Council and entitled to practise; all information and documents submitted are genuine, accurate and their own; and their profile content is factual and free of superlatives, solicitation and client-confidential information. We may edit profile text for compliance, and may suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including for suspected misrepresentation, forged documents, disciplinary action, or user complaints.
4. Verification
Our verification is automated (including AI document analysis) and performed in good faith, but we cannot guarantee it will detect every forged or invalid document. We disclaim liability for acts or omissions of listed advocates.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: submit false information or impersonate others; scrape, copy or republish directory data; use the site to send spam or solicitations; interfere with the site's operation; or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.
6. Consultations and payments
Online booking and payment features, where available, facilitate scheduling and payment between you and the advocate. Fees, rescheduling and refunds for a consultation are as displayed at the time of booking. We are not responsible for the content or quality of the consultation itself.
7. Intellectual property
The LawyerDhundo name, site design, and content (other than advocate-submitted information) belong to SD Enterprises. Advocates retain ownership of their submitted content and grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, SD Enterprises is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your engagement of an advocate found through the site. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the six months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
